Laredo got a terrific performance from pitcher Patrick Le Gall, but it wasn't enough to beat the Myrtle Beach Seahawks. Myrtle Beach won the Hawks Field contest, 9-5. Le Gall was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He came in in relief and pitched to 17 batters . Sixto Bustamante picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 5-1. Mike Wilson was tagged with the loss. Myrtle Beach has an impressive 24-11 record.

Myrtle Beach used the timely hitting of Aubrey Miller to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the second inning to put the Seahawks on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Miller told the Myrtle Beach Herald.
