Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Torch
The Torch faced a stiff challenge from Grim pitcher Yin-zhen Wu, but persevered to claim a win at Torch Field. The final score was 2-1. Wu went 8.2 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The win was credited to Luis Rodríguez in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Yin-zhen Wu took the loss. At 13-19, Mancelona is in 8th place in the Silver A.

Qi-zhen Shen was the walk-off hero for Mancelona. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Torch first baseman hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Shen said.
