The Delaware 1787 BC picked up a win at Mango Yard, knocking off the Kingston Mangos, 2-1. Starting pitcher Dario Zorander, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Ron Plummer got credit for the save for Delaware. It was his 2nd of the year. Delaware is 15-10 and Kingston, with the loss, 7-18.

It could have been a different outcome for Delaware, had it not been for Zhong-yan Zhang, the 21-year old shortstop . Zhang contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth inning to put Delaware up, 2-1.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Zhang said.
