Grim played host to Washington at the friendly confines of The Coffin.

The Grim Reapers topped the Washington Generals by the score of 5-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to catcher John Manley. Manley went 2 for 3 with a triple and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Reapers on the day. The Reapers, now 16-7, have won 5 in a row.

A critical at-bat came in the bottom of the eighth inning when the Reapers sent 22-year-old shortstop Norihisa Kino to the plate with runners on 2nd and 3rd. The youngster shook off the pressure and hit a sacrifice fly, to put Grim on top, 4-3.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Kino.
