Benítez Dazzles in Washington Win
|
The 2041 season is off to a good start for the Washington Generals. The hometown Generals knocked off the Niagara Falls Expos, 3-1, at Washington Park. Washington pitcher Félix Benítez was named player of the game. Randy Keith was called on to finish, recording his 1st save.
In his 102-pitch effort, Benítez allowed no earned runs on 4 hits over 8 innings. He walked 1 and struck out 12.
