Thrilling Walk-Off Win for BC
The Put-In-Bay BC electrified the home crowd at Put-In-Bay Ballpark with a walk-off win.

Yucca Valley got a terrific game from second baseman Donnie Haggard. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Put-In-Bay, 7-6. Haggard was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 2-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The first-place BC have their sights set on making a deep playoff run.

Put-In-Bay took a 7-6 lead on Roland Rankin's 114th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Rankin hit in the bottom of the 12th, left Yucca Valley pitcher Harley Hawk shaking his head.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Rankin.
