Alameda Airmen starter Ernesto Morín turned in a top-notch performance against the Kennesaw Jets at Jets Stadium. The result was a win for the Airmen, 4-2. The 4th-place Airmen improved to 39-35.

Roberto Berganza put Alameda in front, 3-0, when he took Stu Washington downtown. His 2-run home run came with two out in the top of the first. It was his 8th home run of the season.

"We'll savor this win," Berganza told the Alameda Daily News, "then get ready for the next game."
