A nice crowd turned out to see the Idaho Falls Chukars and Columbia River Rats clash at Columbia Stadium.

Idaho Falls Chukars starter Andy Burns pitched effectively against the Columbia River Rats at Columbia Stadium. The right-hander spearheaded his team's 4-1 win. Donnie Ash was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 3 of 3 save opportunities.

Idaho Falls took a 4-1 lead on Cor van Capelleveen's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Columbia pitcher Matt Buck in the top of the ninth.

"We take it day by day here," said Burns, "and today was a good one for us."
