In a tight contest at Idaho Falls Park, the Idaho Falls Chukars edged the Levittown Blue Dragons by the score of 8-7. Idaho Falls right fielder Ricardo Águila, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. With the win over Levittown, the Chukars improved to 32-19.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Idaho Falls designated hitter James Childs, facing Jing-sheng Bian, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Chukars the 8-7 win.
Childs said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
