The Hollywood Shredders did just enough to secure a 5-4 victory over the Portland Evergreens at Evergreen Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Lloyd Natoff, who captured player of the game honors. Natoff picked up the win for Hollywood, going 8 innings. He gave up 4 runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 11-6. Hollywood has now won 4 straight.

Hollywood used the clutch hitting of Gilberto Ocasio to capture the win. The right fielder drilled a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to give the Shredders the lead, 4-3. For the game, Ocasio had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.
