Behind a solid performance from designated hitter Mike Branch, the Ithaca Fighting Imps defeated the Westwood Sixshooters, 4-0. Branch belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Fighting Imps. Jimmy Whitney was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 6 of 9 save opportunities. Even with the win, the Fighting Imps have a dismal 19-41 record.

Ithaca took a 4-0 lead on Branch's 11th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off José Martínez in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Ithaca to the win.
