Behind a solid performance from third baseman Pedro Durán, the Akron Blimps defeated the Biloxi Shuckers, 8-2. Durán was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for the Blimps. Hsiao-lou Lei earned the win for Akron. He lasted 8.1 innings, allowing 2 earned runs on 8 hits, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 3-3. The Blimps, now 35-23, have won 6 in a row.
