Victory Over Bulls Takes Idaho Falls to 28-12
|
Spirited fans at Belleville Field greeted the Belleville Bulls for their clash with the Idaho Falls Chukars.
Idaho Falls third baseman Glenn Seals had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Belleville Bulls, 6-2. Miguel Bruno was the winner. Over 7.2 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 7 hits, with 1 walk and 4 strikeouts.
Seals came through with some timely hitting for Idaho Falls. With the score 2-1 in the top of the fifth and two down, Seals hit a 2-1 forkball for a 3-run home run. His 10th home run of the season made it 4-2, Idaho Falls.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Seals told reporters after the game.
Belleville has now lost 4 consecutive games.
