Loss Extends Ithaca Losing Streak
The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles took Ithaca pitcher Armando González's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Mercer Island Grounds. The final score had Mercer Island getting past the Fighting Imps, 5-4. González went 6 innings and allowed 4 earned runs, striking out 9. Mercer Island reliever Jing-xiang Lingxin picked up the win, upping his record to 4-3. Jesús Solís took the loss. The current losing streak for Ithaca has reached 7 games.
