Sixshooters Score Late, Upend Fighting Imps, 3-2

The Westwood Sixshooters faced a tough opponent in Ithaca pitcher Glenn Underwood, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Imps Park by a final score of 3-2. Underwood went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Westwood now has a 7-game win streak.
The result might have been different for Westwood, had it not been for Hisashi Koumura, the slick-fielding center fielder . Koumura stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Westwood up, 3-2. For the game, he had 1 double and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Koumura said.
