Historic Day: Goodwill Jolts 4 HR
Hitting a single home run is a tough task. Hitting two in a game is impressive. Hitting three is remarkable. Anything beyond that is borderline unbelievable -- yet that's what Colm Goodwill did today in the 16-2 New Orleans Voodoo victory over the Chicago Silver Sox.

Goodwill went 4-for-6 with 4 home runs and drove in 7 runs in a once-in-a-lifetime feat that the opposing manager later labeled "impossible."

"I don't believe it really happened," Silver Sox manager Dustin Hewitt joked to BNN reporters afterward. "I don't ever enjoy losing a game, but this kid was special today. I have never seen a guy hit 4 in a game before. I didn't enjoy it, but it was special."

Colm Goodwill hit a solo-shot off Jay Mahabir in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Jay Mahabir in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Joel Plowden in the 7th, hit a two-run home run off Tony Torres in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th.

So far this season Goodwill has hit .259 with 16 home runs, 60 RBIs and scored 60 times.
