Blimps Lose, 3-1, at The Pizza Oven
Fans who gathered at The Pizza Oven saw a good contest between the Biloxi Shuckers and Akron Blimps.

The Biloxi Shuckers got a strong performance from pitcher Joe Yoder, who stymied the Akron offense en route to a 3-1 win at The Pizza Oven. Júlio del Bosque earned the save for Biloxi, his 1st.

In the bottom of the 6th, first baseman Júlio Coronado gave Biloxi the lead when he hit a 3-run home run. The Shuckers had been trailing 1-0, but the two-out home run off Akron pitcher Tom Holloway changed that -- and Biloxi went on to win.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Coronado said.

The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Biloxi.
