Patriots Lose Despite Spann-Ford's Valiant Effort
The inspired effort of Boston shortstop Brevyn Spann-Ford was not enough to prevent a 9-5 loss to the Buffalo White Walkers. Spann-Ford hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The White Walkers have an impressive 66-32 record.

Jesús Lazcano's at-bat in the bottom of the fifth inning was a big one for Buffalo. Coming to bat with one out, runners on 1st and 2nd and Buffalo trailing 3-2, the third baseman hit a run-scoring single.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Lazcano said after the game.
