Shooters Need Extra Frames to Get Past Ogres
|
Sang-hwa Kim never let the Ogres get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Shooters to a 1-0 win. Springfield reliever Craig Jones picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Roberto Sáenz shouldered the loss. Springfield currently is in 8th place in the Premier AA at 18-22.
Dylan Stavely made it 1-0, Springfield, in the top of the 15th when he hit a sacrifice fly. It was a big at-bat in the Shooters win.
"I found a nice groove out there," said Kim.
