In a low-scoring tilt between the Biloxi Shuckers and the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, Boris Milatovic was the difference-maker. The Biloxi right-hander earned player of the game honors in the 3-1 win. Marc Olsen nailed down his 13th save. The 'W' lifts Biloxi's record to 19-18.

Juan Méndez had a big run-scoring single for the Shuckers in the top of the fourth inning. With Biloxi leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a splitter from Carl Mayes and stroked the single to center. It was his 6th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Shuckers ahead, 2-0.

"It feels good to get this one," Méndez told the Biloxi Gazette.
