Crescent City got a strong outing from Felipe Nieves as the Krewe defeated the Olympia Ogres, 7-2, at The Ogre Den. Wan-fu Quan nailed down his 2nd save. The Ogres have now dropped 5 straight.

Crescent City used the timely hitting of Alex Fields to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put the Krewe on top, 6-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Felipe's tempo and rhythm were good," said Krewe manager Kelly Flint. "He was the key to us winning."
