Shuckers Come Up Short at Olympia
Despite a fine performance by first baseman Júlio Coronado, the Biloxi Shuckers suffered a 5-4 loss to the Olympia Ogres. Coronado hit 2 home runs. Olympia starter Luis Castro was credited with the win after throwing 96 pitches over 5.2 innings. His record now stands at 1-1. Ze-min Li closed the game out for Olympia, earning his 6th save.

Ramón Vegerano put Olympia in front, 3-2, when he took Clinton Repetto downtown. His 2-run home run came with one out in the bottom of the fourth. It was his 2nd home run of the season.

"We're just going to try to build off this win," said Vegerano.
