Alindogan, Blimps Get 7-0 Win
|
Chesapeake had no answer for Akron Blimps starter Wilson Alindogan, who flummoxed Continentals hitters as the Blimps cruised to a 7-0 victory. Akron, now 17-14, holds 4th place in the Premier AA.
Alindogan imposed his will on the Continentals, scattering 1 hit over 7 innings while striking out 8. The right-hander upped his season record to 2-0.
Alindogan expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
