Drabek Dazzles in Put-In-Bay Win
|
Put-In-Bay turned a good effort from starter Cecil Drabek into a win over the Columbia River Rats at Columbia Stadium. The final score was 1-0. With the victory, the BC record now stands at 16-11.
Drabek, who dominated for Put-In-Bay, earned the victory to move to 4-2. He was in control the whole game, scattering 4 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 7. Columbia batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Drabek.
