Yucca Valley left fielder Reginald James played a vital role in his team's 4-2 triumph over Levittown. He was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 3 runs for Yucca Valley. Harley Hawk earned his 6th save in 6 tries. The 6th-place Yellows raised their record to 13-12.
With Yucca Valley leading 1-0 in the top of the second, James hit a fastball from Bill Aylwin for a 2-run double. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Yellows ahead, 3-0.
