The Akron Blimps beat the Olympia Ogres, 10-3, at The Ogre Den. The Blimps got a fine performance from center fielder Charlie Cummings, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2-3 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 2 times. Hsiao-lou Lei was the winner. Over 6 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 8 hits, with 3 walks and 2 strikeouts.
