Sixshooters Trip Fighting Imps in Extras
The Ithaca Fighting Imps got a superb performance from pitcher Luis Matos. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Westwood. The Sixshooters won the game, 3-2. In spite of the loss, Matos was named the player of the game. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball. Westwood reliever Manny Rodríguez was the winner. His record is now 2-1. Jesús Solís took the loss. The Fighting Imps fall to 8-12 and continue their lackluster start to the 2041 season.

Westwood's win came gift-wrapped. With no one out in the bottom of the 11th, with the game tied, Edmond Hallewell reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run.

"The game of baseball will test you," said , the Westwood skipper. "This one tested us."
