The Ithaca Fighting Imps knocked off the Akron Blimps, 10-4, at Goodyear Hanger Dome. Andy Hicks was named player of the game for Ithaca. He hit 1 single and 2 doubles, while driving in 1 runs. Mike Branch dealt the Blimps a blow in the top of the sixth. Batting with the bases loaded and Ithaca leading 5-3, Branch, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2036 draft, hit a full count fastball for a 2-run single.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Branch told the Ithaca Gazette.
