Hollywood starter Tony Alfonso put a stranglehold on the Buffalo offense. The right-hander had complete command of his cutter in leading the Shredders to a 2-1 win. Alfonso, now 9-5, was the winner. Kanko Umaba tagged a home run off Damien Hayward in the bottom of the sixth. His solo blast put the Shredders on top, 2-1. In all, Umaba had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
