Thunder Hawks Lose, 3-1, at Old-Timers Park
The Northville Eclipse took Ft. Polk South pitcher Ralph Owens's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Old-Timers Park. The final score had Northville getting past the Thunder Hawks, 3-1. Owens went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 earned run, striking out 1. Reliever Pi-ao Tsao picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Josh Hall took the loss. Darko Trstenjak, credited with the save, is now 3 for 4 in save opportunities.

Northville took a 2-1 lead on You-liang Yang's 16th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Ft. Polk South pitcher Josh Hall in the bottom of the seventh.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Yang said.

The Eclipse have an impressive 61-38 record.
