The Casper Ghosts topped the Virginia Beach Whales by the score of 7-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman Ken Joyner. Joyner was 4-4 with a triple, a double, 2 singles, and a walk for the Ghosts on the day. The winner was Casper reliever Jong-beom Park, now 1-1. The loser was Javier Iturburua. The Ghosts improved to 55-36.

Casper took a 7-5 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With no one out, right fielder Edward Kisiner hit a 3-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Casper manager José Zamora.
