Love Boats Win at Ft. Polk South, 8-4

The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks and Lake Minnetonka Love Boats cranked it up at Thunder Hawks Ballpark.
The Lake Minnetonka Love Boats knocked off the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks, 8-4, at Thunder Hawks Ballpark. Pablo Santos, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Lake Minnetonka won. The shortstop was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Lake Minnetonka currently is in 4th place in the Silver AA at 43-40.
Lake Minnetonka used the timely hitting of Ricardo Cantú to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Love Boats on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Cantú said.
