Irving shortstop Rubén Plumey made his presence felt in the 8-7 Blue Sox triumph over the Lancaster Farmers. Plumey went 2 for 3 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Irving's record now stands at 27-31, placing them 7th in the Silver AA.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Irving center fielder Nick McGhee, facing Jesús Fregaso, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Blue Sox the 8-7 win.

"Enjoyed this one," Plumey told the Irving Daily. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
