The Tacoma Fur Traders picked up a win at Ballpark of Tacoma, knocking off the Lancaster Farmers, 5-3. On the mound for Tacoma was right-hander Ralph Johnston, who played a pivotal role in the win. Johnston, now 4-5, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 3, walking 2, and allowing 3 earned runs. Picking up the save was Kenny Caird, his 3rd.

Tacoma took a 5-3 lead on Jake Pinto's 11th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Pinto hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Lancaster pitcher Pablo Mareno visibly frustrated.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Pinto.

The Fur Traders go to 18-37, putting them last in the Silver AA.
