Thunder Walk It Off for 30th Win of Season
Benefiting from Carlos Leyva's productive game, the St. Petersburg Thunder downed the Lancaster Farmers, 6-5. Leyva was 2-4 with a home run and a walk for the Thunder. The 6th-place Farmers have lost 5 straight games.

The game was at a stalemate until catcher Adrián Sánchez came to bat in the bottom of the 11th. Facing Lancaster pitcher Pablo Mareno, he hit a 2-2 curveball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting St. Petersburg on top, 6-5.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Sánchez said.
