The Casper Ghosts defeated the Virginia Beach Whales, 8-7, at Virginia Beach Grounds. Casper right fielder Edward Kisiner was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Casper is now 22-21, while Virginia Beach is 19-24.

Casper used the timely hitting of Félix Fernández to seize the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Ghosts on top, 7-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Feels good to get the job done," Kisiner said after the game.
