Rebola Helps Nationals Beat Blues
|
The Ottawa Nationals powered past the Barton Springs Blues, 11-4, at Nationals Park. Sallvador Rebola was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 5 RBI, to lead the charge. Jeff McBride, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed 3 runs on 3 hits in 1.2 innings. The Nationals improved to 38-64.
Rebola made an early impact for Ottawa when he stroked his 77th hit of the season. The 2-run single, which came in the bottom of the third, put the Nationals on top, 4-1.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Rebola.
