Barton Springs pitcher Brian Patterson did his part in helping his team beat the Squirrel Hill Pierogis, 4-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. At 25-30, Barton Springs is in 6th place in the Menard's AA.
Barton Springs used the timely hitting of Maema Njongmeta to seize the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put the Blues on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Njongmeta.
