The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes had to overcome a big game from Alaskan shortstop António Etxebarria to leave Crane Field with a 6-5 victory. Etxebarria went 3-5 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Santa Barbara reliever Jim Perry was the winner. His record is now 5-1. Kingston Liniak took the loss. Santa Barbara took control in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and the bases loaded, Alfredo Garza hit a 2-run single to make it 6-4, Golden Cranes.
