Ottawa played host to Minnesota at the friendly confines of Nationals Park.
The Ottawa Nationals picked up a win at Nationals Park, knocking off the Minnesota Loons, 7-1. Starting pitcher Jonathan Campbell, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Ottawa's record now stands at 17-16, placing them 5th in the Menard's AA.
The Nationals picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Nationals manager Fernando Gonzáles, "I like our chances."
