Loons Pull Even With 6-2 Victory
|
Minnesota Loons starter Johnny Jones was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Ottawa Nationals, 6-2. The Loons' win now puts them at 16-16.
Minnesota relied on the bat of Sergei Adjubei to get the win. The second baseman ripped a run-scoring double in the top of the second inning to put the Loons ahead, 1-0. For the game, Adjubei had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Minnesota manager Rafael Clemente.
