Mawdesley Torches Drummers for 5 Hits
|
Josh Mawdesley did a number on the Drummers in the Pawnee 8-2 victory today, and the number was 5. The ParksNRec right fielder banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Whips Ballpark to lead his club past the Tortolita Drummers.
"I felt good in the batter's box today," he said later. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done."
Josh Mawdesley singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Enrique Castillo in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
