Northern Virginia right-hander Nick Rollins made an effective start against the Buffalo White Walkers at Atlantica, leading his team to a 1-0 win. Rollins got the win, improving to 4-4. He allowed 5 hits and walked 1 over 6.1 innings. Rollins allowed no earned runs. Yoriyoshi Sugimoto converted his 19th save in 20 tries.

Ryder Ringor drew 1 walk in 3 trips to the plate for Northern Virginia. The 26-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Dave Dunn. It was his 25th RBI of the season.
