The Vermont Lake Monsters defeated the Florida Men, 8-4, at Psychos Ballpark today. Leading the charge for Vermont was catcher Dusty Crum. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Vermont has now won 3 in a row.

Vermont used the clutch hitting of Todd Strachota to capture the win. The center fielder drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Lake Monsters ahead, 8-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Crum.
