Polar Bears Get Win, Extend Streak to 4
The Billings Polar Bears defeated the Barton Springs Blues, 7-5, in M3L Double A action at Blues Field, with Billings pitcher Carlos Menéndez named player of the game. Dan Webster earned the save for Billings, his 2nd of the year. The Blues fall to 9-10 and continue their uneasy start to the 2041 season.

Billings relied on the bat of Germán Escobar to get the win. The designated hitter ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the third inning to put the Polar Bears ahead, 3-0. For the game, Escobar had 1 double and 1 triple in 5 at-bats.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Escobar. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
