The Hialeah Dodos topped the Florida Men, 4-3, in USSL Triple A action at Dodos Ballpark. The player of the game was Hialeah pitcher and Green Bay, Wisconsin native Clint Kirk. The winner was Surrealiste Zhejna in relief. His record improves to 1-3. Amadi Azagba took the loss. The Men, at 27-61, have lost 7 in a row.
Hialeah's win came gift-wrapped. With two out in the bottom of the ninth, with the game tied, Scott French reached on an error by the center fielder, driving in 1 run.
"We found a way to get it done," French said.
