Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Knights
The Nolensville Knights eked out a 7-6 win versus the Vermont Lake Monsters at Ballpark of Alloway. Nobody did more than right fielder Pat Kramer, who captured player of the game honors. Bob Bolen picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-1. Von Hansen was tagged with the loss. The 8th-place Knights raised their record to 34-52.

Kramer had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the tenth. On a full count cutter from Von Hansen, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Knights a 7-6 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Kramer.

Kramer told a local reporter: "My job is to go out and play as hard as I can."
