Hanley Lays Hammer Down in 3-0 Win
|
In a low-scoring clash between Richland and Providence, pitcher Todd Hanley was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned player of the game honors for Richland in the 3-0 win. Artie Bates recorded the save for Richland, his 1st of the season. The Rails, with just their 2nd win so far in 2041, have yet to catch fire.
Providence had little success against Hanley and his curveball. Hanley tossed 103 pitches over 8 innings for the Rails.
"It feels good to get this one," Hanley told the Richland News.
