Supernovas Bridle Knights, 2-0
|
The Scranton Supernovas picked up a win at Nuclear Stadium, knocking off the Nolensville Knights, 2-0. On the mound for Scranton was left-hander Joaquín Pérez, who played a pivotal role in the win. Scranton now has a 3-game win streak.
The Supernovas grabbed the lead in the bottom of the fourth. With no one out, Yi-da Yee hit a solo home run off Joe Holland, putting Scranton in front, 2-0. For Yee, it was his 1st home run of the season.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Pérez told the Scranton News.
