White Walkers Beat Silver Sox, 7-2
|
José Santos left his imprint on the 7-2 Buffalo win against the Chicago Silver Sox. Santos, who is tied for 2nd in the PL in RBI with 53, was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win was Jeff Mahl's in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Julián Moreno took the loss for Chicago. Buffalo goes to 50-16. The win puts them 10 games up in their division.
Buffalo used the timely hitting of Eddie Sachs to capture the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the White Walkers on top, 3-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Santos said.
